A proposal to the Lawrence School Board would make it cheaper for parents to send their children on the bus to Lawrence public schools. Meaning students riding Lawrence school buses may cost their families less next school year. A proposal from the school district would lower the bus fee and give discounts to families with multiple children. Families currently pay $260 for each child riding a bus each year.
