Jerusalem is testing a light rail system extending from the Western part of the city into the Eastern parts - lands that Israel captured  in the 1967 Arab Israeli War. Jerusalem’s leaders hope it will improve transit. But Palestinians see it as a knife that slices into lands they claim as their own, exposing old wounds of a conflict that has largely centered on the city's future.
