三間銀行發新鈔 具香港特色及尖端防偽特徵
金融管理局與3間發鈔銀行，發行新款鈔票，特點是容易辨認及難以複製。 金管局總裁陳德霖表示，新鈔票設計除具有香港文化特色外，亦運用了最尖端的防偽技術，包括動感變色圖案、變色開窗金屬線、高透光水印、螢光透視顏色圖案及螢光鈔票號碼。另外，新鈔票具備無障礙設計，包括在左下角，有「點字號碼」及兩邊手感線，讓視障人士亦能分辨鈔票。 他又說，金管局與3間發鈔銀行，用了三年時間設計及研製新鈔票。
