Revolution
The hippy spirit of Haight-Ashbury is alive and well in this rough-around-the-edges documentary, shot in the heart of San Francisco during the groovy days when hair was long, love was free and acid abounded. Featuring concert footage of Country Joe and the Fish and other bands, director Jack O’Connell's quirky film captures the counterculture's scope, from impassioned leaders such as Rev. Cecil Williams down to ordinary freaks on the street.
