Human rights groups say at least 1,400 civilians and 350 security personnel have died in Syria since protests against President Assad began in March.Foreign journalists are unable to travel and report freely inside the country, but Ian Pannell secretly crossed the border near the Turkish village of Guvecci.He heard from Syrian soldiers who say they have been ordered to fire on civilians.
