Lonely Planet author Michael Kohn visits Jerusalem, Israel, a city that buzzes with religious power and colliding cultures. In town for the weekend,  he witnesses the progress of Muslims towards the Temple Mount on Friday, the holy day. Later in the afternoon, he watches the market close down for the start of the Jewish Shabbat and the crowds making their way to the Western Wall. And then on Saturday night, the party erupts on Ben Yehuda Street.
