大相撲改革を目的とする独立委員会 暴力団対策など話し合いも協会への提言まとめは次回へ
大相撲の改革を目的とする独立委員会が会合を開き、暴力団対策などを中心に話し合いを行った。しかし、協会への提言をまとめるまでには至らなかった。3回目となった会合には、5人の親方もオブザーバーとして参加し、角界の実態を説明した。独立委員会は、すでに協会への提言の具体案をまとめており、暴力団排除への宣誓や協会内部に委員会を設立することなどが盛り込まれる見込みとなっている。次回、8月12日に行われる会合では、現役力士にも意見を聞き、協会への最終的な提言をまとめるという。
